The Other Woman (New York: Warner Books, 2007), edited by Victoria Zackheim, launched in New York on June 12, 2007 to much fanfare. The anthology of 21 essays written by Pulitzer Prize winner Jane Smiley, and other award-winning authors, including Diana Abu-Jabar, Susan Cheever, Lyn Freed and Kathleen Archambeau, was featured in “O” magazine (June, 2007), on The Today Show (June 14, 2007) and in People magazine, among others. For several weeks, the book was #1 in Canada. Kathleen Archambeau’s essay, “Seized,” was read by the author at several readings, including Book Passages in Marin, Kepler’s in Palo Alto, the San Francisco Public Library Theater and featured on Mary Jo Eustace’s Canadian Morning Talk Show. A staged reading of some of the essays played to a full house at Delancey Street Theater in San Francisco.
